Personality Development App Leadburg Secures Angel Funding
Bangalore-based personality development app startup, Leadburg, has raised an undisclosed amount in angel investment led by former SAP executive Harsh V. Pant and Ratheesh Raveendran, Asia president and COO, OpsVeda. Leadburg was founded in 2016 by former SAP veteran Harsh V. Pant and OpsVeda Asia president and COO Ratheesh Raveendra. This is a self discovery, leadership development and opportunity matching startup and currently has over 300 colleges on its platform.

Oi Media raises funding from Quarizon
Oi Media, a SaaS marketplace platform, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed round from early stage venture capital fund Quarizon. Oi Media was started in 2015 by Praphul Mishra. The company enables media sellers and buyers to connect and transact in a transparent environment. Kumar Goel, Principal Advisor at Quarizon, will join the board and provide strategic mentorship to the start-up. Micro Venture Capital firm Quarizon invests in ed-tech, IT/ITeS, clean tech and Internet of Things (IoT) in the business-to-business-to-consumer space.

Milk Mantra raises funds from Neev Fund, existing investors
Odisha-based dairy startup Milk Mantra Dairy has raised about $10 million (Rs 66.5 crore) in series C round of funding that has been led by State Bank of India-backed Neev Fund. In 2014, Milk Mantra raised series-C funding of Rs80 crore, led by Fidelity Growth Partners India and Aavishkaar India II Co. Ltd. The funds will be used to expand operations. Founded by Misra, an ex-Tata Administrative Services executive, Milk Mantra will also look to scale up its Milky Moo brand of products.

Food-tech startup Ketchupp raises Rs 3 crore seed fund
Venture capital firm India Quotient has led a $500,000 seed round of investment in meta search engine for online food ordering Ketchupp. The company follows a differentiated model, allowing a search, based on a dish rather than a restaurant unlike Zomato or Swiggy. The one-year-old Delhi-based company works on an ad-based as well as commission-based model where it charges a restaurant or food delivery platform Rs 15-20 per order on an average. Ketchupp will use the capital raised to develop its technology in a bid to hone the platform from just a search engine to a suggestion based model.

EdTech Startup Curiositi Raises Rs 3.5Cr from Menterra, Unitus
Education startup Curiositi Learning Solutions has raised Series A funding from Menterra Social Impact Fund. Existing investor, Unitus Seed Fund also participated in the round. It was founded by Vinod Abraham and Manoj Thandassery back in July 2013. The ed-startup is designed so as to develop an interest in complex subjects of students of standard I TO X. The team includes teachers, product designers, technologists as well as ops gurus.

Pharmatech startup MUrgency Raises Funds for India Expansion
Silicon Valley-based emergency response firm, MUrgency, has secured about $100,000 from Rishad Premji. The Silicon Valley-based startup currently operates in two regions and is planning a large scale expansion. In its current phase it is rolling out in NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. The firm is backed by Ratan Tata and Infosys cofounders Kris Gopalakrishnan and SD Shibulal.
